This 8 days tour will introduce you to all that Morocco has to offer. It visits most of Morocco’s historic imperial cities as well as the mountains, desert and great food & hospitality.
Day 1: Tangier
Upon arrival in Tangier, you will be met and taken to your Tangier hotel. At midday you will visit the city. You will be touring around Tangier and its surroundings as well as visit Spartel Cape and the Hercules caves. From this point you will get an exceptional view of the strait of Gibraltar and the Atlantic Ocean. You will then visit the Kasbah district, the old Medina with its craftsmanship shops and the magnificent Minaret looking over the sea. Overnight stay in Tangier
Day 2: Chefchaouen
After breakfast, we travel to Chaouen or Chefchaouen in Berber, one of the most beautiful towns of the Rif mountains which are the last rampart before the Mediterranean and the Iberian peninsula. It’s famous for its shady valleys Medina, its white coloured houses, blue doors and tiles roof. The local market of Chaouen are animated with traditionally dressed locals and a variety of beautifully displayed. Chaouen offers to its visitors the charm of a city which has preserved Arab Andalusian arts and traditions. in late afternoon, we head back to Tangier train station to catch the High speed train to Casablanca. Day 3: Casablanca
After breakfast, Explore the cultural, historical and economic centre of Morocco on a sightseeing tour of Casablanca. Get an overviewof the city and its most characteristic areas, including the maze-like streets of the medina including an visit to the Hassan II, one of the world’s biggest mosques, Sqala and Habous disctrict. Once finished with the tour, we head towards Rabat for an overnight stay
Day 4: Rabat & Volubilis
This morning we do the tour of the capital Rabat. Strategically located on the Atlantic coastline, Rabat began as a settlement in the third century BC. We will enjoy a tour of the old city including visits to the Royal Palace, Ouadaya Gardens Kasbah and the Hassan Tower Mosque. We then drive to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis exploring the 2000-year-old ruins and getting a picture of life during the Roman Empire. You will head to Fez in the evening. Overnight stay in Fez.
Day 5: Fez
After breakfast you will begin our guided tour of the Fes medina, one of the world’s largest walled in cities. You will explore the narrow streets lined with fresh fruit, mounds of spices, intricately woven Berber carpets and many other art objects of Morocco. A visit to the King’s Palace, the tanneries, and potters are just a few places you will experience. For lunch you may choose to eat in a traditional restaurant in the heart of the medina. After lunch you will continue the tour and return to your hotel for the evening. Overnight stay in Fez.
Day 6: Ouzoud Waterfalls
After an early breakfast, you will depart for Marrakech via Ouzoud Waterfalls. The beautiful drive will take you up into the Middle Atlas Mountains and along the base of the High Atlas Mountains. Along the way we’ll make a short stop in beautiful Ouzoud enjoy a walk down along the cascades, relax to the sound of the falls, enjoy a picnic lunch or visit one of the many cafés and restaurants. After a restful and relaxing afternoon, you’ll continue your journey to Marrakech. Overnight in Marrakech.
Day 7: Marrakech
After breakfast, you will have a guided tour of Marrakech, the southern pearl of Morocco. You will discover the Palace of the Bahia, the Saadian Tombs, and many other hidden treasures. After lunch, you will continue with the tour on to the magnificent Koutoubia Mosque and the famous Djemaa el-Fna, one of the center attractions of Marrakech. The tour will conclude with an exploration of the Menara and Majorelle gardens. Overnight stay in Marrakech
Day 8: Marrakech – End of our services
Your last day of travel will be in Marrakech. Free time will be given if you wish to have some final shopping in the old medina. Transfer to Marrakech airport.
